Athletes of the Week - September 7

The Rattlers are proud to announce this week’s Players of the Week, sponsored by Cheerleaders Barber Lounge and BYZ Enterprises.

Logan Pancoast – Cross-Country Running

Rookie runner Logan Pancoast made an immediate impact in his ACAC debut at the #1 Grand Prix Running Room hosted by Concordia University of Edmonton. The first-year Rattler stormed to a third place in the men’s 8 km race with a time of 30:03, the best individual men’s finish by a Medicine Hat College athlete since the cross-country program returned in 2020. His patient pacing and strong final lap helped him secure the podium and lead the way for the men’s squad.

Keandra Leslie – Women’s Soccer

Keandra Leslie delivered a standout performance in Sunday’s 4–3 comeback win over Olds College, scoring twice in the final eight minutes, including the decisive match-winner in stoppage time. A magic free kick that has not beeing saw in the Rattlers Pitch for a while. The reigning ACAC Women’s Futsal Player of the Year showed her scoring instincts translate seamlessly to the outdoor game, providing the spark the Rattlers needed to close out an unforgettable victory.
