Rattlers Golf Hosts the ACAC in South Regional

This weekend (Sunday & Monday) the Golf team plays host to the best college golfers in the province as we host the ACAC South Regional golf event at Desert Blume Golf Course. Coming off a win this past weekend, Rattlers golfer Michael Valk looks to continue the winning ways and goes for two regional event wins in a row while the rest of the men look to help their team move up in the overall team standings. Libby Bourassa was the top Rattlers female golfer coming in 3rd place and is looking to move her way up the leaderboard on home soil. Falling just a couple shots back from 1st place last week, the women are looking to catch Concordia and make a run at the top of the leaderboard this upcoming weekend.


Cross Country Looks to Build on a Solid First Weekend

After taking 1st and 2nd place in the ACAC Running Room Grand RPix #1, the Rattlers Women's Cross Country Runners are looking to hold on to their grasp at the top of the leaderboard. Rebecca Ross & Madison Scrimger lead the way for the team at the top of the standings and Pyper Gill looks to try and rebound after and ankle injury kept her unable to commplete the first race. On the men's side, mid-pack showings at the first race have leftthe team with lots of optimism that they can improve on their first weekend of competition. The men are looking to improve on their 4th place team performance.


Rattlers Soccer Looks to Tame Lions

After coming away with 3 out of a possible 6 points, the women's soccer team (1-1) looks to get back on the winning track when they travel to Calgary to take on the Ambrose Lions (0-2). The women are led so far by 1st year forward Jaycee Berggren who leads the team in goals with 4 & Abby Lalach in goal who has a 1.50 GAA. Kickoff for the women has been changed from 6:00pm to now 4:00pm at Rundle College. The men's soccer team (0-0-2) is looking to get their first win of the year against same the same Ambrose Lions after coming away with two draws this past weekend. The team is led by three goal scorers of Joel Lehr, Mizuki Ozawa & De'Shaunt Gelinas-Cato all with one goal on the season. Noah Scholly has been in goal for the first two games of his ACAC career and comes into this weekend with a 1.50GAA. Kickoff for the men is at 6:00pm at Rundle College.


Women's Basketball hosts Edge Prep

In their first preseason game, the Women's Basketball team takes on the Edge Prep school from Calgary in back-to-back games this weekend in the Snake Pit. The women's team has been hard at work over the last few weeks, and this will be their first test of the season to see where they stack up. Tipoff for these games goes Friday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 12:00pm and both are FREE to attend.


Women's Hockey First Preseason games

Our Rattlers Women's Hockey team gets their first test of their season as they travel to Lloydminster to take on the Lakeland Rustlers Friday night at 7:00pm. The teams return to the ice on Saturday for a matinee game at 2:00pm. The Rattlers home opener is October 7th versus NAIT at the Moose Rec Centre.


Rattlers Volleyball Travels to Caronport

Coming off a couple weekends since their last pre-season trip, the women's volleyball team travels to Briercrest to take on the Briercrest Clippers Friday night at 6:00pm. The women will also be doing some team praactices with the Clippers as well. The women's home opener is November 3rd versus the Keyano Huskies at 6:00pm.
