Rattlers in the Community

Rattlers Volunteer in their Community

Our Rattler's make MHC and our community proud!  In addition to attending classes, studying, practicing and competing, these talented athletes have big hearts to reach out and assist in a wide variety of community events throughout the year.  Our Rattlers are role models who set positive examples in the community of Medicine Hat.

In the 2018-2019 season, the Rattlers volunteered OVER 5,000 hours, and have a goal to continue to increase their volunteer hours and the positive impact they have on the community of Medicine Hat & surrounding areas.  Our Rattlers are proud receipts of the 2019 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Community Service Award & the 2019 City of Medicine Hat Community Spirit Award for Volunteerism.

Watch our social media to see all the great places our student-athletes volunteer and the significant impact their volunteer efforts have on the community of Medicine Hat.

If you would like to have the Rattlers attend your event, please contact Kristi Segall, ksegall@mhc.ab.ca, with a description of your event and the approximate number of athletes required and we will do our best to have some volunteers available if their schedule permits it.
