The Rattlers Cross-Country had a tremendous second season of competition culminating in a gold medal winning ACAC championship for the ladies and playing host to athletes from across the country at the CCAA Cross-Country National Championship in November.  The Rattlers women were led by first year runners Becky Ross and Madison Scrimger who competed well in every Grand Prix they competed in.  Ross ended the season with some individual hardware as she was named ACAC Cross-Country Rookie of the Year and was also named a CCAA All-Canadian.  Both Ross and Scrimger were also named ACAC All-Conference All Stars.  The ladies wrapped up their season with a 6th place finish at nationals with Becky coming in 7th overall in the race.

The men's team also had a strong season and were led by third year runner Brannon Sumner.  The team was competitive in each Grand Prix and finished 5th at the ACAC Championship in Edmonton.  The men ended their season competing against the top teams in the country as hosts of the CCAA Cross-Country.  The men finished in 15th place at the race and the team's average time to run the 8km course was 30 minutes and 59 seconds.

Head Coach Bill Corcoran, who led his team to a Women's ACAC Championship in just their second season of competition was honoured as the ACAC Coach of the Year and followed that up by being named CCAA Coach of the Year.
