Briercrest was back in town for the second game of the weekend series. Medicine Hat College was hoping to continue their winning ways at home after a close game the night before. Briercrest started with their big lineup to try and shut down the Rattler Offence. A slow start for both teams saw only one basket each in the first 4 minutes. The rattlers especially seemed flat and not generating offensive chances. With most of the chances coming late in the half the Rattlers trailed the whole quarter down 3, 11-14.

The Rattlers Came out of the break with a faster step and more pace in play. A quick basket was answered right away with a 3 from Clippers guard Kai Wyatt. Hitting a second in a row the Clippers increased their lead to 7 early in the quarter. Down big, the Rattlers called a timeout early in an effort to change the momentum. Unable to score the Rattlers could not seem to buy a shot. They started to close the gap nearing the end of the 2^nd quarter. The Clippers were able to hold them off and maintain a 3 point lead up 28-25 at the half.

The second half opened with fast baskets from both teams. The Clippers extended their lead with another 3 from Kai Wyatt and strong inside play from Brooke Johnson. The Rattlers chipped away with a 3 from Morgan Muir from long range. The Intensity from the Rattlers ramped up but the results stayed the same. Shots that fall in 99 time out of 100 were falling out. The Clippers on the other hand, were getting circus shots to fall. Unforced errors were the biggest detriment to the Rattlers the whole game. Turnovers and sloppy play were common themes on the day. At the break the Rattlers trailed by 10.

The 4^th quarter started as a very flowy game. No whistles for almost 4 minutes saw some very tired athletes. Hoping to chip away at the lead, the rattlers came out very aggressive. The intensity ramped up as the Rattlers tried desperately to overcome this big of a lead late in the game. Up by 13 with 2 and a half left, the Clippers tried to close out the game, using as much of the clock as they could. None of the Rattlers usual performers played up to expectations, dropping the contest to the Clippers 66-51.
